Two officers shot, suspect dead in Newington shooting
Hartford and Rocky Hill police officers Alex Diaz and Jon Escobar were wounded in gunfire during a pursuit that ended with the suspect's death. Both officers were treated and released from the hospital. The Connecticut Office of Inspector General is investigating the use of deadly force.
